Present and run a show in Stage Studio
Short answer: Go to the Controls tab and click Present. Two windows open: the Output window (move it to the projector; it stays blank until you trigger a cue) and the Present Control Dashboard. Press GO to advance, or use the … menu next to any cue and choose Go Here to jump to it.
Steps
- Connect your projector as an extended display. See Extend your display to a projector.
- Open your production and go to the Controls tab.
- Click Present.
- Move the Output/Display window onto the projector. It stays blank until you trigger the first cue.
- Use the Present Control Dashboard on your screen to run the show.
Running cues
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| GO | Advances to the next cue |
| … → Go Here | Jumps to that cue |
| Progress bar | Shows where the current cue is |
Audio plays through the outputs you routed in the editor while the Output window shows the video.
Before the performance
Run the whole show once in rehearsal on the same computer and projector, especially in the beta.
