Scenery licenses and devices: the rules
Short answer: Broadway Media scenery is licensed for your production's dates only. A Standard License installs on one device at a time; a Professional License on up to two. Rentals are sold by the week with a four-week minimum, the license ends automatically, and you may not copy, share or reuse the files.
These rules come from Broadway Media's End User License Agreement (EULA), which you accept when you sign in to StagePlayer.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Rental term | Sold in weekly increments; minimum four weeks. Extensions must be bought in advance, one week at a time. |
| Devices | Standard License: one device. Professional License: no more than two devices. No backup or extra copies. |
| Use | Only for your licensed production, during your rented dates. Staged performances only; not for post-production, green screen or editing software. |
| Sharing | Don't copy, share, upload or distribute the files. |
| Reuse | Don't reuse in future shows, classes, camps or workshops. |
| Recording and streaming | Not without Broadway Media's written approval. |
| Activation | May require an Access Key or sign-in. Access can be revoked automatically when the license expires. |
| After expiry | Delete all copies. Proof of deletion may be requested within five days. |
| Fees | Non-refundable once content is delivered. |
| Governing law | California (Broadway Media's EULA). |
