Download and install Stage Studio

Short answer: Go to stagestudioapp.com/download. On a Mac, unzip the download, drag StageStudio to Applications and open it. On Windows, run the Setup file; Stage Studio opens when it finishes, and you can reopen it from the Start menu.

Mac

  1. Download the macOS build from stagestudioapp.com/download. It's a universal build for Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
  2. Unzip the .zip file.
  3. Drag StageStudio into Applications.
  4. Open it from Applications.

Windows

  1. Download the Windows installer from stagestudioapp.com/download.
  2. Run the Setup file.
  3. Stage Studio opens when installation finishes. Next time, open it from the Start menu.

Which version?

The download page shows the build number and release date. Stage Studio is part of a beta program, so build numbers may include "alpha" or "beta". Download from stagestudioapp.com, and don't update during tech week.
