Watermark still showing

Short answer: A watermark is normal before your license period, which normally covers the four weeks ending with your final performance. Check the date in the Library (top right of your show: "Watermarks Removed on…"). If the license period has started and you still see it, sign out of StagePlayer and sign back in. If the dates are wrong, request a date change from Broadway Media.

Applies to: StagePlayer 2.x (current release) on Mac and Windows · Last reviewed: October 17, 2026

1. Check your dates

In the StagePlayer Library, look at the top right of your show:

  • Watermarks Removed on [date]: you're in the rehearsal period. The watermark disappears on that date automatically.
  • Access Expires on [date]: you're in the license period; there should be no watermark.

2. If you're in the license period and still see a watermark

  1. Sign out of StagePlayer (Logout at the bottom of the sidebar).
  2. Sign back in.
  3. Make sure you're using Present, not an old window.
  4. If you've added your own watermark under Tools → Watermark, click Revert.

3. If your dates are wrong

Request a change: Change your license dates.
